Tamara Auster the Founder of Once Upon a Bride Maui has been a  MAC PRO Makeup Artist for over 10 years.   She is a Licensed Aesthetician and has worked in Cosmetic Plastic Surgery for over 12 years.

Her credits include Print, Runway, On Location Shoots, Film, Video and Bridal Makeup.  She began as a model in the bridal industry at a very early age.  She has decades of experience, from planning entire events, staging photo shoots to making bridal bouquets. 

Her talents in Makeup/Skin Care are her passion.  She enjoys serving others and believes every bride is the princess of her own story. 

She has contributed many  hours to non-profit organizations like Princess Project, an organization that helps underpriveledged teenage girls attend their senior proms, who otherwise would not be able to attend, through donations of Prom Dresses, makeup and accessories.  If you would like to donate a dress, please contact Tamara and receive a 10% discount off your services. 

Tamara also serves on many non-profit organizations.  She served as Mrs. San Francisco in 2001, where she stays active today, in contributing many hours to helping children in need, on Maui and the San Francisco Bay Area.
